What are the best under eye treatments in 2026?
Its answer included under eye filler, PRF, radiofrequency microneedling, resurfacing treatments and skin boosters.
It looked like a reasonable list, but Dr. Godley had a few thoughts. Some were treatments he regularly uses. Others came with an important “it depends,” and one treatment he frequently recommends was missing altogether.
AI’s first recommendation: Under Eye Filler
AI recommended under eye filler for treating hollows and tear troughs. Hyaluronic acid filler adds volume beneath the eyes, which can soften the hollow appearance.
Did Dr. Godley agree?
Sometimes, but it would not necessarily be his first choice. Under eye filler can soften hollows, but it can also cause puffiness, last longer than expected, or make the area look heavy.
In some patients, the hollow is partly caused by volume loss in the cheeks. Dr. Godley may recommend restoring that support with Radiesse or Sculptra instead. One patient came to him wanting filler beneath her eyes, but he recommended Radiesse in her cheeks. As volume gradually returned to her midface, the hollows beneath her eyes became less noticeable.
