PRP Treatment FAQ
-
PRP stands for Platelet-Rich Plasma, a golden serum derived from your own blood. It contains growth factors that help stimulate the skin’s natural healing process. Once extracted, it’s carefully injected or microneedled into areas of the face that need support — such as fine lines, dullness, under-eye circles, or acne scars.
PRP is often called the "natural filler," not because it adds volume like traditional fillers, but because it promotes natural tissue regeneration and improved skin quality over time.

PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) is the next generation of PRP. While similar in concept, PRF is spun at a slower speed, which preserves more white blood cells, platelets, and fibrin — the elements responsible for healing and regeneration. It also contains a small amount of stem cells, which help extend the treatment’s regenerative effect.
Because it forms a fibrin matrix, PRF stays in the skin longer than PRP, allowing for slower release of growth factors and deeper collagen stimulation. Many clients notice longer-lasting, more noticeable improvements in skin tone and texture with PRF.

Most clients benefit from a series of 3 treatments spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart. Some see visible improvement after just one session, while others prefer regular maintenance for continued collagen support.

There’s minimal downtime. You may experience mild redness, swelling, or tenderness for 1 to 3 days after treatment. Some clients notice a slight “tight” feeling or dryness as the skin renews itself. We’ll give you gentle aftercare instructions to support healing.
