Few physicians have taken a path quite like Dr. Mark Godley. Over more than 30 years in medicine, he has helped build surgical centres, expand access to healthcare through telemedicine, and establish a modern aesthetic practice.
That journey has included founding the False Creek Surgical Centre in Vancouver, serving as Medical Director of the Maples Surgical Centre, and founding Livecare, a telemedicine company dedicated to providing healthcare services to First Nations communities and people living in rural and remote areas of British Columbia.
Today, as founder of Godley Clinic, Dr. Godley practices aesthetic and regenerative medicine, drawing on decades of experience in medicine, operating room practice, and healthcare innovation.
A Foundation in Medicine
Before entering the world of aesthetic medicine, Dr. Godley trained and practiced as an anesthesiologist. This background provided an exceptional understanding of anatomy, patient safety, and pain management; skills that continue to influence every aspect of his work today.
Over time, Dr. Godley's interests expanded beyond the operating room and into aesthetic medicine. He was drawn to the blend of medical knowledge, artistic judgment, and innovation that defines the field. He often jokes that one of the best parts of the change was finally being able to chat with his patients while they were awake.

His advanced training has taken him across North America, Europe, and Asia, allowing him to study emerging techniques directly from the physicians developing them. He is particularly recognized for his expertise in thread lifting and has completed advanced Aptos training with world-renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Marlen Sulamanidze, one of the pioneers of modern thread lift technology.

Life Outside the Clinic
Outside of medicine, Dr. Godley enjoys staying active and spending time on the water. A longtime sports enthusiast, he enjoys kite surfing and wing foiling whenever he gets the opportunity.
Medicine is also very much a family affair. He is proud to see his two daughters pursuing careers in medicine and currently studying to become physicians themselves.
