Victoria’s First Experience with Plexr Eye Lift

*This story is inspired by a real patient. To protect their privacy, some details have been changed.

Hey, it’s Victoria here. As the owner of Glam Habits*, a medispa in Surrey, I’m always on the lookout for the next big thing in beauty treatments. When I heard about the Plexr eye lift treatment from Dr. Godley, I knew I had to give it a try. Balancing the joys of motherhood with running my own business has been my greatest adventure.

But as any parent knows, it comes with its fair share of challenges, especially when it comes to self-care. With six amazing kids, including twins, my skin has seen its fair share of wear and tear. As I look in the mirror, I can't help but notice the not-so-subtle signs of fatigue etched across my face. My eyes, once my favourite feature, have lost some of their sparkle, overshadowed by the inevitable effects of time, sleepless nights, and a drooping upper lid. Enter Plexr — the thought of manipulating plasma to tackle my skin issues is intriguing. Could this be the answer I've been looking for? Excited and curious, I wasted no time booking my appointment, eager to see if Plexr lives up to its promise.

The Treatment

Dr. Godley, with his expertise in pain management, made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. After numbing my eyes with a potent cream (seriously, it was magic!), he got to work with the plasma pen. Our main focus was to lift my eyes, but he also treated the skin above my lips. I won’t lie, seeing those tiny micro-wounds appear was a bit unnerving, but Dr. Godley assured me it was all part of the process.

The days following the treatment were a bit rough, I won’t sugarcoat it. Swelling, scabs, and the urge to pick at them – it was all part of the healing journey. But sticking to the post-treatment instructions paid off. Day by day, I could see my eyes looking brighter and more lifted.

Here’s a look at some of the aftercare information given to me by Harp, the nurse at the clinic. Throughout the aftercare process, her support was exceptional, and she was readily available to address any questions or concerns I had.

Aftercare Dont’s

  • Do not pick the scabs. Let them fall off by themselves or you risk scarring. Do not rub, scrub or irritate your skin in any way while healing.

  • Do not apply make-up (even mineral) for the first 4 days or until the scabbing or peeling is complete.

  • Do not apply any plasters (liquid bandaid) or the treated areas as doing so can delay the natural healing process.

  • Do not work out, swim, or get in a hot tub or steam bath (avoid sweating and soaking scabs).

  • Do not apply any other creams, ointments or products of any kind on the treated area for 1 week.

The Results

Now, let’s talk results. Wow! The difference Plexr made was incredible. Not only did my eyes look more open and youthful, but I also noticed a subtle lift above my lips making them appear fuller. It’s like I got a mini facelift without going under the knife!

So, if you’re like me and looking to turn back the clock without the downtime of surgery (with my schedule, I really can’t) I highly recommend giving Plexr a try. The results have been amazing for me, and I couldn't be happier. Here’s to embracing our best selves at every age!

Plexr FAQs

Want to know more about Plexr? The following are frequently asked questions answered by Dr. Mark Godley,

Can Plexr be used for eye bags?

Dr. Godley: It's important to exercise caution with Plexr for eye bags, as its powerful plasma technology can potentially alter the eye's shape. For under-eye concerns, I still prefer thread lifting.

What else can Plexr do?

Dr. Godley: Plexr is incredibly versatile. We often use it for quick 15-minute sessions to remove warts, moles, and skin tags. It's also effective for tattoo removal. Unlike traditional methods, Plexr doesn't involve cutting, leading to faster healing and minimal scarring.

What about xanthelasma?

Dr. Godley: Removing xanthelasma, those fatty yellow deposits around the eyes, has historically been challenging. Most aestheticians hesitate due to the delicate area. Previously, only a plastic surgeon could handle it. But with Plexr's precision, even near the eyelashes is safe. Xanthelasma removal has become much simpler.
